Truth Be Told

Hey lovelies... hmnn so I have had 2 posts in draft and they followed me into the new year. I didn't have internet to blog over the holidays but I'm back to the land of good internet and I really do hope, amidst exams that I complete both posts and publish them asap.

For the past 2 New year eves, I haven't written my usual "what i'm grateful for" for the year. I feel bad about it because this goes deeper than I can write but I have chosen to do something else instead.

THE POSITIVE JAR. Tweeted about it yesterday and it's really simple. Throughout the year, pay attention to the good things/blessings/miracles/testimonies that happen to you and write them down as they happen. Don't wait till the next day if not you would forget. On Dec 31st, Open your jar and read the notes. You would realize the wondrous things He has done in your life. No matter how minute the blessing might be, trust me it will make you smile and thank God at the end of the year.

Anyway that's all this post is about. Happy new year once again and I wish everyone reading a blessed and testimony filled year.

Forgiveness. A very touchy topic. Over time, I realized that the phrase "forgive and forget" doesn't apply to humans. Why? Because how do you tell your hypothalamus to erase an event? To erase the hurt someone caused you?  To be honest, I think the most important part of the phrase is the FORGIVE!  I'm not a bible "quoter" if there's a word like that but I do believe that it was written that we should forgive 70 x 7 times.. even if you are not good in maths, the 70 part is enough to tell you that forgiveness should be part of our life, our everyday practice. Of course you shouldn't be counting to know if it has passed 490 times. Lol nobody will hurt you that many times anyway.

I have always been one that had pride in not having secrets. There's always someone that knows, always, and most times, not family. Now that brings me to this post.

2014 has been a very weird year... If i could call it my best to nothing year, I would. but one thing stood out for me, secrets. No No, I still don't have secrets because well, like I said earlier, somebody knows. I know I'm not making much sense now but trust me, that moment is coming and if it never comes to you, then this post wasn't for you.

We all know the definition of 'secret' so I won't waste more time in trying to explain but did you know that,

1. Secrets are devilish?

2. Secrets separate you from God?

3. A Secret is the best pathway for the devil to enter your life and never leave?

4. A Secret is the best way to constant temptation?

There are a ton fold of other things you probably didn't know about secrets but these are the 4 things I'm interested in talking about today.

I kept thinking I could do it on my own
No need for no man, god, idol
I don't care about all that.
I've been successful without them
Call me Miss independent.
I've been built to be alone
Call me Miss forever alone
I aint got time for heart breaks
Living my life
So when he came to start preaching about something I don't know
I found that strange, absurd.
Does he know who I am?
Was?
Who is God?
Who is He?
Came to give me life huh?
But I had life without Him.
I don't get it.
Ok long story
Fast forward
I understood who the Father is. Has been.
Now how do I find myself?
How do I find myself in Him?
Without considering my earthly worth
My hard work.
What if I lose them all?
Will that be the end of me?
But I choose to see it this way.
It'll be the end of me in the world
In material things.
In making myself a god.
And start a new me
In the father.
My Father.
He chose me
And truly gave me life.
So what is your identity?
Who do you identify with?

Hello beloved Readers, I Hope you've made that plan now...If you haven't please do so NOW. Its very important and I don't want you to forget.

Today's post was recited in Church by me a while back and as usual, I forgot to post it here. Was looking through my Journal a few minutes ago and found it. I hope it ministers to someone. Just One person and it's destiny is fulfilled. Enjoy.

I know what you are doing
Undressing him
Trying to see through the opaque nine packs
Yes that's the fact
Stripping down his clothes
In exchange for your soul.
After satisfying your hunger and thirst
You are full of dirt and cursed.
Snap back into reality
And listen to me.

Hello wonderful people, happy new year!!!! How's 2013 going? Mine is going well, Thank God.
