Hello everyone. Merry Christmas in arrears and happy new year in advance.  I can't apologize enough for slacking in the writing aspect of my life. What Are You Grateful For

Once again, I have a looooooot of things to be grateful for. Wow this has been my best year I must say. Oh 2012. The Joy.

First of all, I am grateful for life. I wouldnt be here today,blogging, if my Father hadn't kept me. I'm too grateful.

I'm grateful for family. I didnt have any cause to get any bad news from home this year. It wasn't a smooth ride with the fam this year but i'm glad we all are standing as one.

I am a Christian 
Do you know what that means?
It means I'm far from perfect 
Simply redeemed
Bought with a purpose, 
Purchased by love
It's not a form of religion, 
It's a gift from above
I am not perfect,

Woah. The dust in this place is RI-DICULOUS!! Almost 3months since I blogged. :(
Hello Readers. I'm sorta back to blogging. yay yay! It's still "sorta" coz I can appear and disappear anytime. How's everyone been doing? As for me, I've been up and down!. Last session's exam period, summer, hospital practice, new session. yes yes, everything's going on a pace I can't follow. Well, I'm trying. I've just got a lot going for me and it's been a total blessing. I know I'm strong enough to handle "anything", almost.

Few hours ago, I randomly stumbled on "Isaac Carree" on Youtube during my study session. I must admit, the song I stumbled on was H-amazing!!!!  Here's the link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkUpre3j2ZU&feature=related

Meanwhile, I shuffled through his other songs and behold, I found one with very powerful lyrics. I'm gonna post the lyrics up and the link to the song in my next post. That's actually the reason I decided to blog today. *covers face*

She was lost in thoughts. Thinking and planning as always. She involuntarily took her pen and wrote down everything she ought to do in the next month. Out of her never ending list was the plan to at least meet the man of her dreams. In her mid thirties and still single,  Seun couldn't help but question herself. Needed to know exactly why she wasn't attracting men. Ok she was, but they weren't her kind.

She knew better than to settle for the least. CEO of a respectable brand. She was established, rich but still unhappy.  In retrospect, she remembered her encounter with Segun, the man she was in love with for a very long while. He was a business partner and their friendship had kicked off on the right note.

She already knew she would agree to date him if he asked. Almost a year later, Segun had not asked if they could date but was showing affections like he was interested. She was glad that they had a good foundation for a relationship since they were good friends. She waited patiently for the moment that never came.

Months later,  Segun invited her to a dinner and she was so elated she thought "this is it"... On getting there, she realized they had company.

Troublesome and stubborn heart
Yeah that's the definition for this piece of God's art
Heart always yearning for revenge
Always planning to avenge
When done wrong.
It claimed to be strong
But yet showed weakness
Claimed to be humble
But yet always fumbled.

It has its reasons
When you've gone through every season
Of heartbreak and deceit
